Hermosa Beach Foreclosure and Short Sale Update for October 12, 2009

While the foreclosure and short sale market in neighboring Manhattan Beachhas seemed to slow a bit, the number of active listings at some stage of the foreclosure process in Hermosa Beach has been rising as of late.  There are currently 10 active distressed sales in Hermosa Beach with several other short sales currently for sale but only accepting backup offers at the moment.

Hermosa Beach foreclosures and short sales

Of the current foreclosures and short sale listings 6 are single family homes (one is actually a duplex but listed as an sfr) with two townhomes and two condos.  Prices range from $437,500 for a 2 bedroom condo in the Commodore building up to $1,150,000 for a sfr at 1118 Prospect.  7 of the homes are short sales and 3 are bank owned homes.  Visit our foreclosures and short sale site for more information.

Great post! We moved to Estes Park from Hermosa Beach about 20 years ago and sold our little duplex on 6th Street for $385 back then...the Ocean Realtors sign wasn't in the yard 2 hours and we had one offer and two backups. Crazy! If it weren't for our realtors helping us get started in that market, we wouldn't be where we are today.

P.S. I miss Hermosa Beach desperately in April. When it's still snowing here. And it's gorgeous there!
