Real Estate in the Beach Cities: Want to live life like you're famous? The 90210 Beach House is on the market

Want to live life like you're famous? The 90210 Beach House is on the market

For those home buyers out there looking not only for a stunning ocean front home, but for the chance to live the life of the rich and famous, your home has arrived.  The home is located at 3500 The Strand in Hermosa Beach and it's known in the area as the "90210" house.  How the girls of Beverly Hills 90210 (the original not the recent) afforded a Strand home is certainly a mystery but this home was featured on many of their summer episodes with the cast living the good life on the beach.  The home itself is actually on a very unique corner lot in which the bike path, or Strand, juts out in the transition from Manhattan Beach to Hermosa Beach offering unblocked views in multiple directions.  As mentioned the address is 3500 The Strand and the home is actually two 2 bedroom 2 bath homes with an additional 2 bed/1 bath guest suite.  Square footage is approximately 2,868 square feet and sits on a 3,670 oversized lot and is listed with Bryn Stroyke of Vintage Properties.

The home truly is ideally located with some of the largest beach frontage in all of the South Bay.  The current list price is $10,500,000 and can only be shown with an appointment.  Click here to view all of the current oceanfront Strand homes in Hermosa and Manhattan Beach

Hey, I recognize those balconies! I lived in England during the 90210 heyday and watched it just because it was the only American thing on (except for Little House on the Prairie).

Awesome house.  One day I want to own a beach house just like that.  Maybe not one that costs upward of 10,000,000, but something of a similar style in a less expensive area.

It's actually a great house.....and who knows if Kelly, or Dillon (forgetting the other names which may not be a bad thing) stop by.

Keith,

I'm lucky the walls of this house don't talk.  I have lived within 10 homes of this house on both sides of the beach for 13 years now and have known the current owner since he bought it with Bryn's help a decade ago.  What a scene he has created there...

I'm not so sure about the price though.  It's a three unit the way it's currently configured and may be better served being torn down.  Also, there have only been less about ten sales over $10 M in the last decade in the entire South Bay.  We'll see what happens...
